Key worker access arrangements

Key Worker Provision – Update for access arrangements for the morning of Wednesday 24.3.20

Only pupils who have been identified by their parents to us in school as requiring the emergency provision in school may attend. If possible, please keep children at home unless absolutely necessary. This provision is only for key worker children where provision is essential to allow front line workers to attend their employment. If you are not a key worker, identified on the list from the Government, please keep your child at home.

Please note: If you are working from home, your child should be at home. Please follow the government guidelines at this time for the safety of everyone.

The building will be accessible via the main entrance from 8.45am.

We ask that only one person at a time may enter, maintaining the advised 2metre distance from others at all times.

Your child will be signed in by a member of staff.

The school meals team will provide a packed lunch for the children in school.

Children should be collected at 3.15pm from the main entrance. We will see children out in the same method, but ensuring distance is kept and we would appreciate parents doing the same in the yard. Please move forward to collect your child, and maintain the distance as much as possible.

We will be observing social distancing principals during their time in the building as far as possible and regular handwashing will take place across the day.

For the safety of pupils and staff it is understood and expected that pupils attending are limiting their contact with others to a minimum at this time. Other than their own homes and the school setting they should not be interacting with anyone else where at all possible.

Anyone displaying symptoms or with family members displaying symptoms must not attend and respect the governments advised isolation times.

Thank you to everyone for their understanding.
