East Boldon Infant School is a co-educational community infant day school catering for pupils between the ages of 4-7 years. We were awarded Beacon Status in September 2000 on the basis of our 1998 excellent Ofsted Inspection report and consistently high National Test Results. In September 2003 we were awarded Beacon Status for a further year. We have been awarded two School Achievement Awards for excellence having achieved better results in 1999/2000 and 2000/2001 academic years than most schools in similar circumstances. We achieved a Healthy School Standard Award in 2002. Our latest Ofsted Inspection report January 2008 judged the school as outstanding reaffirms our commitment to excellence.
